OTUSUN LAND 2021 Fundraising!

Fundraising begins for upcoming OTUSUN LAND projects!

The time has come! As previewed in our previous update, we've just begun our fundraising campaign to support the development of upcoming projects, mainly the next major Hippoboar Rancher update and the spinoff visual novel starting Siris!

The whole thing's taking place over at the Hippoboar Rancher BackerKit page - we figured a familiar place is the best bet.

What's more, any purchase from this page, including a Tip Jar donation, will get you access to the new OTUSUN LAND Discord server, where we'll be sharing exclusive previews of upcoming games and updates - plus for you Nitro users, we have tons of cute hippoboar stickers for you to use in your other servers. We'll begin sending out access for supporters a little later this month! We'll also make sure all backers of this Kickstarter get access as well, so keep an eye out.

As far as shipping goes, shipping costs are a flat $5 for any US order of any size, and a flat $20 for any international order of any size. We realize international shipping is expensive, but unfortunately this is the best international shipping price possible from the US at this time. We plan to start shipping orders by early October at latest!

Please do note that there's no funding goal or necessary amount here - we'll be releasing the upcoming update and Siris spin-off even if we don't sell a single item, but your support will go a long way towards helping it happen much sooner, so please take a look and consider telling your friends!

We also want to mention once more that our back catalog is now available on itch.io, including new title A Long, Long Love Ago. We've reduced the prices on our older titles a little bit, and extras like soundtracks and artbooks are available too, so if you missed out on any of our games, this is a perfect chance to catch up!

OTUSUN LAND Summer Update! Hippoboar Rancher expansion inbound!

Hey all! Popping in with another update about what we've got going on now and soon!

If you follow us on Twitter, you may have already seen - following the launch of A Long, Long Love Ago, we've now made our full catalog available on itch.io!

It's turning out to be a great additional way to get our games out there, and we plan to continue launching new titles on itch going forward.

As for what's next, we're gearing up for the next major Hippoboar Rancher content update - and we need your help to do it! We didn't want to "lock" the update behind a crowdfunding campaign goal, though, so we're going to be doing things a little differently this time: we'll be setting up a merch storefront to offer goodies directly to you, which will help us fund the development and localization of the update, which will of course be free to all owners of the game!

We'll be launching this storefront this Friday, and we'll have a wide array of dope swag available - here's a little peek!

This is just a small sample of what we'll have available - we'll also have enamel pins, cloth masks, and much more!

What's more, if you follow OTUSUN CLUB's Japanese accounts, you might know that development is underway on a Hippoboar Rancher spinoff visual novel, a romance story starring Siris. Well, we'll of course be releasing this in English as well, and the fundraising campaign will also help make that possible sooner! We look forward to your support!

Between the Hippoboar Rancher update and the above-mentioned spin-off, the rest of 2021 is pretty packed for us, but come 2022, we hope to turn our sights towards finally offering The Bell Chimes for Gold sequel nEroErosso in English, as well as continuing the development of Neighbor follow-up Carrion Crow, so stick around!

The first major content update for Hippoboar Rancher has been released!

Good morning (or afternoon, or evening) to our ranchers across the world! As we previewed in our last post, the first major content update for Hippoboar Rancher is live on Steam NOW! Just launch the Steam client and the update should start downloading automatically, if it hasn't already.

This update brings a plethora of new characters, features, and quests to the game - you can see the full list of patch notes on the Steam announcement here.

We hope you'll enjoy diving back into your ranch, and we'd love to see how much profit and clout you've amassed! Please show off how much you've grown your ranches on Steam, or on Twitter with the hashtag #HippoboarRancher - we'll be on the lookout for them!

We also wanted to let you know that we're going to be starting a crowdfunding Kickstarter campaign for our next title, a localization of OTUSUN CLUB's MariAlbum! MariAlbum is an adult otome romance title and a spinoff of OTUSUN's flagship title, The Bell Chimes For Gold. You may have even seen some of the characters in MariAlbum mentioned in passing during your ranching exploits! You can preview the campaign here before it goes live on October 1. Howdy, ranchers! It's hard to believe, but we just passed our first anniversary of getting funded. We hope you've all been enjoying your time down on the ranch!

As promised, we've continued working on regular updates for the game, and the first major one is almost ready! It'll be launching at the end of this month, and will feature a ton of new content:
